In case you get tired of reading my stuff

Our YXE Podcast

For those of you who are tired of reading what I have written; I have put together a new medium to grow tired of; a podcast.  Sean Shaw, DeeAnn Mercier and myself (along with some soon to be announced contributors) are going to talking city politics, urban planning, and other issues that affect us as a city at ouryxe.ca.  We have some great guests lined up and at times it can get rather testy but a great city needs a place to debate things and talk about new ideas.  This just happens to be one of them.  The RSS feed is live and we hope to hear back from iTunes in a couple of days and I can post that link.  The first episode can be found online here.  Expect to hear our episode with Councillor Zach Jeffries to go live as soon as our iTunes page goes live.

Jordon Cooper Outfitters

Jordon Cooper Outfitters

One of the things that I enjoyed this fall was creating the series of Christmas Gift Idea posts that so many people criticized this fall.  While there was some negative comments, the response was overwhelmingly positive from complete strangers who really enjoyed those features and said it made Christmas shopping a lot easier on them.

While creating the guides, for every cool item I posted, there was ten or so that didn’t make the cut.  I didn’t really know what to do with it so I thought of creating a shopping section of the site but I didn’t want to clutter up the site that much for regular readers and at the same time, if you are looking for a great watch to buy, you probably don’t care about NFL highlights.  In the end I decided to split off another site to shop.jordoncooper.com.  For a lack of a better title, here’s introducing Jordon Cooper Outfitters.  It’s a weblog that I hope to update five days a week with products, links, and articles designed to inspire you to get out and do stuff, create stuff, or just change make the world better.  If you want to follow the site, you can subscribe to the RSS feed or follow the site on Twitter @theoutfitters

We’ll see how it goes.

Resonate 3.0 (beta)

Well Resonate is back online with a new look and feel and the website is now powered by WordPress.  You can check out what Resonate is up to as a community, find out information about church planting, and also a listing of some of the emerging churches across the country.  The RSS feed and Twitter account is also working.

TheOoze.TV launches

Spencer Burke at TheOoze launched a cool new project called TheOoze.TV.  It’s a high audio, video, and HD podcast.  The first one features Shane Claiborne.  Here is the RSS feed.

RSS Feed Fixed

Sorry about the lack of updates since I upgraded to WordPress.  I had a mistake with my Feedburner settings that I missed.  All is working now and everyone should see current updates from the site.  You can still follow the site at feeds.feedburner.com/jordoncooper
