According to the Pope, only the Roman Catholic Church is the true church. Protestant churches are just ecclesial communities. Wendy has posted about the last couple of weeks. About as bad as she describes it but not as bad as some of the e-mails have made it out to be. An op-ed by Anne Murray [...]

Resonate is gone!

Resonate.ca moved servers last night and during the update to the new site, Dreamweaver lost the connection (I was on a flaky wifi connection) and decided to take a break uploading. I’ll have it fixed tonight and the good news is that coop AT resonate.ca (my e-mail address of choice) is working again.

Ecclessial Mercenaries

Soon after the Church of the Exiles website went live, I started to get some e-mails in asking me who was funding our little church plant.  I think everyone assumed that either Resonate or the Free Methodist Church in Canada (through the Life Cycle Project) was funding it.  They were shocked to find out that [...]

Nvu

Jared Siebert and I were IMing about iBooks when I lamented the cost of Dreamweaver for Mac or Windows.  He told me about nVu which I had never heard of before and I downloaded a copy of it.  Here is how Wikipedia describes it. Nvu (pronounced “N-view”) is a WYSIWYG HTML editor, based on the Composer [...]

Book 3 of 53: Signs of Emergence by Kester Brewin

A couple of years ago when The Complex Christ came out, I plopped down some puny Canadian dollars, exchanged them for British pounds and bought the book from Amazon UK and eagerly waited for it to be shipped across the Atlantic. When it did arrive in Canada, I had to plop down some more Canadian [...]
