I think the people running for mayor and council professing to deal with urban sprawl need to expand upon what Nenshi says. If property taxes alone can’t pay for the construction of new neighbourhoods, that means those of us in the old and older neighbourhoods are subsidizing the new ones. We need to be paying for our own infastructures to be rebuilt. (Watermain break season is coming up….)
