For the first time in my life, I’m about to vote NDP in a federal election. (Please don’t tell my father, he’s 96 and it might do him in) I don’t expect my vote to count for much in Saskatchewan, except perhaps to add to the chorus of “what you’re doing just isn’t working.”
Yeah, I am about to vote NDP for the first time in my life. My mother voted for Trudeau in 1968 and I bugged her about it for her entire life. She would just say, “Two words, Robert Stanfield” in her defense. At least now if Mark bugs me about voting NDP I’ll go, “So did Bert.”
