My Grandfather started Broadbent’s Furniture in Saskatoon I was not raised in Canada, so I did not know my Grandparents very well – although my Grandmother and I wrote to each other and they visited us a few times when I was young. (I do currently live in Canada ) My Uncle Jack then had the business and I don’t even know if it is still in the family. Thank you for posting this picture of the shop sign as I’m trying to piece together a bit of our family history since I retired. Where did you find this sign? I feel like I’ve discovered a treasure!
It’s hanging in the window of a local Saskatoon antique dealer. I have walked by in daily for years and finally had my camera along and took a quick picture.
