The Christmas Clean-Up and Other Thoughts

Well we are making some progress in getting everything put away around here.  We weeded Mark’s toys down from four storage containers to one (and one for Oliver) which gave him some extra space.  Part of that space was eaten up by him getting his first computer of his own.  It’s offline for now as it is in his room.  If he wants to go online, he can use my computer.  The best part of having your first computer is that you can be introduced to the old school games like Wolfenstein 3-D and Age of Empires.

Some of the Christmas stuff is destined for the cabin so it has been boxed up.  It’s not yet January and here we are packing for the lake.  I had seriously planned on going to the lake this week for at least a day but a staff member got quite sick and we don’t have the people around who can cover for him which is frustrating but it happens.  The manager who was covering my holidays this week had a heart attack this summer and I would rather go in than see him get sick.  The cabin will have to wait until later.

By tonight, Wendy will have the tree down, the decorations down, the Christmas lights down and all put away for next December 1st.  Thanks Wendy, it is not the best way to spend your day off this week but I appreciate it!

I appreciate all of the links and kind words about Jordon Cooper Outfitters.  Also, thanks for sending me in ideas for cool gear and stuff.  I love, love, love tips.  So if you have some ideas, send them in.  If any of you want to help curate Jordon Cooper Outfitters, let me know that too.

Some of you have asked if I am making any money off the site and right now the answer is no.  All I am doing is pointing to other sites.  I do have an Amazon.com associate account but that won’t bring in much money.  Eventually if the site traffic warrants it and the demand is there, I’ll add some advertising options but if it never gets that popular, I won’t shed any tears.
