A great article.  I love the story of the Jewish congregation that changed their neighbourhood by holding community meals.  I think that we need to do a lot more to foster community.  I have just been reading The Great Good Place which talks about this and how crime rates went up as we lost the third places in which communities used to gather.  Our modern ways of doing development have a lot of negative impacts.</description>
