Good deal!! Keep the karma moving!

I had a furnace die a while back, and spent the entire Memorial Day weekend replacing it. Then the water heater died and spent the entire Labor Day weekend replacing it! The good news is that all this cut my gas bill in half.

Say, these furnace motors have sleeve bearings, and usually that's the first thing to go. Anyone have any luck replacing just the bearings? You have to catch it just as the motor starts to make noise, but 20 bucks of bearings is better than 100 bucks of motor. Even better if we could figure out how to use skateboard bearings!

Wow, that is great news. When I read about your furnace on Twitter, I really felt for you (as we are having a vehicle crisis). God is good!

Peace,
Jamie
