In case you missed it, Sarah Palin talked openly about running again in 2012 if her and John McCain should lose.  I wasn’t that surprised with it as she was brought with the idea that she would help McCain win and in the end, she helped him lose.  What I am surprised that even if she has been running for 2012, she would risking alienating the McCain supporters who would be quite helpful in a primary campaign.  In some ways the narrative in 2010 and 2011 is being set now and it will be one of disloyalty to the candidate who created her national profile in the first place.

  1. One of my favorite shows is HBO’s “The Wire” where it shows how politicians and civil servants seem to be concerned most with moving up the chain of command. They will do what they need to do, be who they need to be, and say what they need to say, even if it unjust or pragmatic. The job of the Christian is to stop all these shenanigans and just follow Christ (I wish it were as easy as I just made it sound).
