The good news and the bad news

With Wendy being 38, there was some concerns but things were going well. She has a wonderful bout of morning sickness that she is finally over but yesterday in a visit to the doctor, she was warned that the road ahead could be bumpy and more difficult than it was with Mark.
The answer to the question that every is asking is; Mark is handling it well and is looking forward to being a big brother. He will be evicted from his room upstairs and moved to the larger bedroom in the basement. Some friends have told me that they think Mark is way to young to move to the basement but Mark asked me the other night if he could move out with Lee so Lee wouldn't be so lonely without us. I don't know if being separated by a couple of floors will traumatize him too much. As a co-worker said, "He's a young male, living in sub-subterranean housing appeals to him." He is already lobbying for some two way radios and a computer so he can e-mail us.
As I mentioned, the big change is that Lee is moving out and I will lose the chance of ever getting my office back. The other concern we have but am not sure how to deal with it is that Maggi is like a bull in a china shop some times and while is gentle and never aggressive with Mark, she has gone through him a couple of times when excited (kind of a Dino greeting Fred Flintstone type of scene) and steps on my feet all of the time which at 100+ pounds kind of hurts.
Wendy's only complaint until yesterday is that she isn't crazy about a summer baby and the heat but considering that she has spent our entire marriage complaining about how cold I like the house, I am sure she will survive.

Congratulations!
I'll be praying for health and peace for all involved.
Way to go. Liz and I will be praying...
Cheers.
Congrats!
I don't believe Wendy is over 32. No way. If you don't stop fibbing like that, I'm going to have to take you off my "Christian" blogroll.
Congratulations you guys. Another gift for you. I pray Wendy has an easier time of it, no complications, etc.
Daniel,
Our neighbor one time asked if he could ask out my daughter. It was awfully awkward when I told him it was my wife.
congrats dude! what kind of old wives tales have you used. we just found out too and haven't found any good ones.
Wendy is not craving carbs (which is a sign that it is a guy apparently), also her doctor said the baby's heart is beating fast which she said was a sign it was a girl.
Wowwy wow wow.
The Boys do swim.
God be with you and your growing family these days.

Congratulations to you and Wendy! We've also moved Vivian due to the imminent arrival of Nora, and she took to it quite well. Sounds like Mark is ready to take it too. Good luck!
Did you get the e-mail I sent you?
Cogratulations!
Mark will make a great big brother!
Congrats, you three.

Our prayers are with you and the baby. Regarding Maggi, just 5 words: Cesar Milan the Dog Whisperer!

"When you have a child you become a parent. When you have more, you become a referee."
Great work. Sounds like you'll be ref-ing quite a team ;-)
Scott, if it is a "she", I hope she looks like Wendy more than myself as well.
If it a boy, I am sure he will idolize you like Mark does still.
Congratulations! Wendy is really 32 (which is 38 Canadian).
If someone asks you what it is, just say (as a true Canadian) "I don't know, we'd be happy with either a goaliew or a forward."
That's really awesome news!
congrats jordon and wendy!
