How to download video off of YouTube
Some of you have asked how to download a video off of YouTube. I found a website called vixy.net which works when the server isn't that busy but they have created a beta downloader that works pretty good that you can download for free. It has some bugs but it downloads and converts video to mp4 format which works for your iPod or PSP just fine. Now it doesn't work for Google Video but many of the videos can be downloaded right from the site.

there is also zamzar.com. you can convert youtube videos to various file formats for free. just thought i would share.
Too bad you didn't have an iPod Touch - you could save yourself the hassle of download/convert and just click on the YouTube icon.

I've found keepvid.com works better than pixy or any other site I've found yet...
I use zamzar too.
Does this mean that if I install iTunes on my desktop then I can convert and save my fav YouTube vids and view them on my PC?
There is also TubeTv for the mac. Works great.
