Saskatchewan Wins the 95th Grey Cup
The Saskatchewan Roughriders just won the 95th Grey Cup by beating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 23-19 in a game that should not have been that close except for the Roughriders offense sputtered quite a bit. My favorite was when Winnipeg's coach challenged a video replay decision. Yes, he threw his challenge flag to challenge a ruling that had already been reviewed by the video replay official. Brilliant. This also means that we pass Sarnia on the all time Grey Cup wins list.

Sputtered a bit?!?! Save for the points gifted them by a quarterback making his pro debut, they only scored 10!! That's an understatement in the realm of "the Roughriders were a bit lucky that Kevin Glen went down last week"!!!
sigh. congrats. Dinwiddie seemed confident before the game, but during it he did have that deer in the headlights look . . . could have been a fairytale ending for us, especially for Milt. . . but all the same, there's no team I'd rather lose to.
Dinwiddie put a scare into the heart of Riderville with his last minute march to midfield. He could have won it even with a bad game.
The challenge flag on a challenge flag - future Best Damn Sports Show material for sure! My other favorite moment was Chick smoking a cigar after the game and getting a $5000 fine for breaking Toronto smoking bylaws!
