I feel sorry for Islander fans

I got off work today at 8:00 a.m. and was asleep by 8:20 a.m. I woke up as Wendy was heading to work and I needed to watch Mark. I dozed on the couch while he watched Prank Patrol. Normally he is excellent if he even thinks I am tired but when Prank Patrol is on, he is loud and excited and is always soliciting my input. After it was off the air, he turned it to sports and I wasn’t paying that close of attention to the television and was instead learning what Mark was reading at his school’s summer reading program. All of a sudden I see that Neil Smith was fired and Garth Snow was the new GM on the ticker. I assume it is a joke as Smith has only been on the job for 40 days and Garth Snow is the backup goaltender for the Islanders. Nope, I was wrong and it was a bizarre day on Long Island. Not only the firing but all of the conflicting stories being written about the day. Eric at Offwing put together a summary of the madness and the New York Islanders join the Chicago Blackhawks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, San Fransico 49ers, and Portland Jailblazers as the worst run franchises in North America right now. Sadly there are not enough Mark Cuban‘s to go around and save bad franchises

aye I agree with you. I would’ve also included the New York Rangers because they’ve made some really horrible business decisions the last couple years. However, they seem to have been inspired by the Canucks and other teams that are investing in youth :)
