Today So Far

Every March 11th, I tend to blog my day. I just got home from work so please excuse the late start.

6:00 a.m. Alarm went off and I kicked the dog off the bed who was sleeping on my feet.
6:53 a.m. Wendy said "Happy Birthday" as I was driving to work.
7:00 a.m. Got to work
7:45 a.m. Finished my Nabob Full City Dark Roast Coffee and wondered if it was fair trade coffee.
11:50 a.m. Was hoping to have a Dr. Pepper and some Dorito Dill-icious chips. Vending machine was out of the chips so I did not have any but the Dr. Pepper was everything that I hoped for.
2:45 a.m. Went outside and realized that the temperature had dropped. A lot.
3:00 a.m. Was glad that I don't have trips planned with Jetsgo who has a new motto of "Pay a little, get stranded in a airport"
3:30 p.m. Found out that Nabob coffee is not fair trade. Will switch brands tonight.
4:40 p.m. Bought and ate a bagel at Great Canadian Bagel. Enjoyed their rather yummy red pepper cream cheese.
6:00 p.m. Looked at an old CCCP hockey hat at Jersey City. Decided against purchasing it although it did reinforce my belief that the word "Soviet" needs to be a word that we need to use more in casual conversation.
7:00 p.m. Talked for a while with my good friend Scott Williams for a while about life, ministry, and getting together this spring.
7:30 p.m. Arrived in the K.G. Bowl and Todd and Corina Peters, Jadon, Nathan, Krista, Becky, Jayson, Estelle, Wendy and Krista's mom, Anne were all bowling. Becky got me some fair trade coffee.
7:40 p.m. I look over and see that Mark and the Peterson kids have an amazing bowling score. Before I suggest to Nathan and Krista that maybe they should take the kids out of school and send them to the Pro Bowling World Tour it clicks in that the kids have bumper pads instead of gutters to help them bowl. I wasn't nearly so impressed with Mark at that point.
8:00 p.m. I got a strike and broke 100. Wendy beat me though. That was hard to take. I did manage to beat Mark.
9:00 p.m. Arrived at Ozzie's on Idylwyld. Ordered a Root Beer and Linea arrived with a present from her and also a book from Randall.
9:30 p.m. Leif Peterson started singing happy birthday to me expect he inserted the phrase, "Your powers are weak old man" into it. That was nice. Your powers are getting weak when kids can cut you down so easily. If I was younger I would have had a comeback.
10:10 p.m. Realized I was losing my voice and called it a night.
