Last full couple of days at Lakeview...
The real question now is, what do I do with all of my stuff in there. 2000 volumes, my six foot tall poster of "The Rock" (Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?"), my lava lamp, six bookshelves, and an antique filling cabinent. My house isn't big enough for all that stuff. Gloria has a bunch of my books and I have been bugging her to give some of them back. Now I will be asking her to take more of them. Wendy is saddened by me leaving. It means for her that my beloved chainsaw sculptures of a ram and eagle will be coming back to the house. She finds them hideous. It is hard to find people who can appreciate 70ish chainsaw art.
John and I went over to Lakeview late to pack up my stuff. Never let another pastor ever help you pack your books. For a while there was a "pile for John" and a "pile for Jordon" thing happening there. I will have to stay friends with John for a very long time to get my stuff back. Also, if you are reading this blog and your name is not Gloria, Jerry, or Darren and you have my stuff, I would appreciate it coming back my way today. Thanks.
