Job Opening at Rocky Mountain College

Rocky Mountain College is looking for an experienced individual to fill the rewarding role of Dean of Students commencing July 1, 2003. Prospective applicants will be mature Christians with a passion for student development in a contemporary, post-secondary Christian college environment. The Student Dean is a member of the President's Administrative Cabinet and is responsible to lead and oversee the College's Student Life departmental staff and functions, including student residences, student union, new student orientation, support services to students, and college community life. The Student Dean may also be assigned occasional teaching duties. Minimum academic qualifications include a Master's Degree, preferably in Student Development, or a related field. Interested candidates should possess the following: a successful record of supervising others, strong human relations and communications skills, be visionary in outlook, experienced in mentorship, skilled in conflict resolution and crisis intervention. Preference will be given to candidates with previous student life and teaching experience in a Christian college environment. Rocky Mountain College is a contemporary, multi-denominational Christian college with membership in the Accrediting Association of Bible College.
