Canada opens world junior hockey tournament with easy 15-0 win over France All the mocking aside, it is hard to play goal in a 15-0 game. You get cold and you find it hard to concentrate. Usually a good shot will beat a goaltender under those circumstances. Then again, I doubt they had any really good chances.

I love this time of year. The Jr. World Hockey Championships are HUGE in Canada and we will get up ubsurdly early in the morning to watch Canada play.

I remember my Mom getting us up one time at 5:00 to watch Team Canada play the Russians. What a great rivalry. I still remember the World's when they were in Saskatoon and Eric Lindros was on Team Canada.
